A bright, quick-grilled salmon fillet with a zesty lemon-garlic glaze, served with a light herb-dressed salad. Simple, healthy, and perfect for a weeknight seafood dinner.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking.
Whisk lemon juice, lemon zest (if using), minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make a glaze.
Pat salmon dry, brush with the glaze, and let sit for 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Grill salmon skin-side down for 4–6 minutes, then flip and cook 3–4 minutes until opaque and flaky.
Toss mixed greens with olive oil and vinegar to make a light salad.
Plate salmon with a side of salad. Squeeze extra lemon over the fish if desired.
